Our design fees are determined based upon the scope of work for each individual project. Since no two projects are alike, we take into account square footage of the project and estimate how many hours it will take to create the design plan. A detailed fee proposal will be provided after reviewing the Design Questionnaire and our initial phone consultation.
Depending on which service you select, the design process time varies. For local design projects, depending on the scope of work involved, can range from 4 weeks to several months if other trades are involved in the construction process. An estimate will be provided based upon each individual project.
We can help you set realistic budget expectations. based upon the information you provide in the Design Questionnaire and through our initial phone consultation.
No, however, please be aware that there is risk in waiting to order. There are no guarantees by KBD that items will stay in stock and that the prices will not increase. We suggest ordering the items as quickly as possible. If you decide to wait to purchase and fall victim to a stock or price issue, we will be happy to resource additional items at our hourly rate.
Absolutely! We understand that some items have sentimental value or may still be in good condition. Please take photographs and provide dimensions of any items that you have that you would like to keep and send them to us to include in your design.
